3rd Whitton (Ibn Battuta) End of Term

 

3rd Whitton (Ibn Battuta) had their end of term party on Thursday 19th July 2007 at the 3rd Whitton scout HQ. There were some activities for the children to have a go at – puzzles, art and crafts , carom board and a bouncy castle for the toddlers. The parents were shown a video of  the joint camp with Petersham and Ham Scout group. Finally, we were entertained with some African drumming from some of our cubs and their father. Phil Hunt – our GSL came in to invest some cubs and to conduct the move-on ceremony from cubs to scouts. A big thanks to the parents who brought in so much food – samosas, onion bhajees, spring rolls, chicken rice, trifle and drinks etc.
