On Sunday 18 May, the St Edmunds Sections (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) led the 9.30am mass at St Edmunds RC Church.

We provided the narrator, altar servers, readers, offertory and collectors. It was moving to see how many St Edmunds Cubs and Scouts volunteered to lead and will be awarded credits to the “my faith” activity badge. Many thanks to the volunteers.

After mass, we trooped to the church hall to celebrate with the parish 70 years of Scouting with St Edmunds, the centre piece being a 70th anniversary cake and sparkling fizz. Many thanks to the parents to made the reception possible.
