For those WITHOUT the Community Challenge Badge
For those who didn’t attend both first aid sessions, as a minimum download the starred requirements for your Community Challenge Badge (as long as you have also attended the “Dangers” session and the “meet your Councillor” session). Other sessions will be held to enable completion of the Community Challenge Badge.
For those WITH Community Challenge Badge
Complete these requirements for your Emergency Aid Badge – level 1 and, if you wish, level 2.

Emergency Aid 1
Complete the requirements below.
1. Understand and recognise dangers in the house and outside.
2. Know what to do at the scene of an accident.
3. Know how to open an airway.*
4. Know how to treat minor cuts, scratches and grazes.*
Emergency Aid 2
Complete the requirements below.
5. Know what to do at the scene of an accident.
6. Know how to get help from the emergency services.*
7. Know how to clear an airway and place in the recovery position.
8. Know how to deal with minor bleeding.*
9. Know how to deal with major bleeding.
10. Know how to deal with burns and scalds.*
